Abstract:

A new species of mymarid, Anagrus elegans, an egg parasitoid of the brown planthopper, Nilaparvata lugens (Stål), and the white-backed planthopper, Sogatella furcifera (Horváth), in the South Asian region is described. The new species is compared with the other Anagrus belonging to the atomus species group.
