Abstract:

Two new species, i.e., Idioscopus capriliana (Mudigere, southern India) and Busoniomimus setulistylus (Singapore) are described with illustrations. I. capriliana is distinguished from I. indicus in having pronotum and scutellum with black markings; pygofer with an internal thickening along caudal margin which terminates in a process, anal collar process not C-shaped. B. setulistylus is distinguished from other allied species by the brush of setae present on the style and by the completely divided 7th sternum of female. I. nigroclypeatus (Melichar) is redescribed and the lectotype designated. Amritodus mudigerensis Viraktamath is transferred to Busoniomimus and is recorded from new localities on Buchanania angustifolia Roxb. A key to the known species of Busoniomimus is included. I. clavosignatus Maldonado Capriles is recorded from Singapore on mango.
